Redmond Design & Build
A logo refresh, then a full relaunch from WordPress to a fast Astro site on Cloudflare, built to bring in more survey requests.

The brief
Redmond first came to me to replace an outdated website that kept throwing errors. I refreshed their logo and built them a new WordPress site that showed off recent projects and reviews.
For the relaunch the focus was enquiries: a faster site, clearer calls to action and nothing to maintain behind the scenes. So I rebuilt it from the ground up in Astro and moved it off WordPress entirely.
What I did
Logo refresh
I presented five concepts. They picked a favourite, and a small colour tweak finished it off.
Rebuilt in Astro
Every page rebuilt from a structured content pack, then deployed from GitHub to Cloudflare Workers.
Built for enquiries
Sticky click-to-call and “free survey and estimate” calls to action on every page.
Moved to Cloudflare
DNS migrated to Cloudflare, with a Postmark-powered contact form and email set up alongside.
Page speed
Google Lighthouse scores for the live homepage, tested on 16 October 2026.
- Largest Contentful Paint (mobile)
- 2.9 s
- First Contentful Paint (mobile)
- 1.3 s
- Total Blocking Time (mobile)
- 0 ms
- Cumulative Layout Shift (mobile)
- 0.02

Since the relaunch
With no WordPress core, theme or plugins to keep updated, there is far less to go wrong. Changes go from GitHub straight to Cloudflare.
“Fantastic service! Really pleased with our new website. Would highly recommend.”
